Eminem To Endorse Chrysler In New $9 Million Super Bowl Ad!

Chart topping rapper Eminem has landed a second, high profile commercial spot. Eminem will endorse the new Chysler 200 in front of Detroit's famous Fox Theatre during the commercial. According to the The Detroit Free Press, the commercial, which cost almost $9 million dollars to produce, is one of the most expensive ever produced in Super Bowl history.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Eminem would be featured as an animated Claymation figure in a commercial for Lipton Brisk Iced Tea during Super Bowl XLV, where advertising spots are selling for upwards of $3 million dollars for :30 seconds. The news of two Eminem commercials being aired during Super Bowl XLV underscores Hip-Hop music's status as the dominant music of choice for the NFL this year. The music returns in full force after a seven-year hiatus, stemming from a controversial, crotch-grabbing performance by Nelly, the same year as Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction with singer Justin Timberlake.

Hip-Hop music came under fire in the weeks and months after the performance, which resulted in a 550,000 fine for CBS in 2004, which was later suspended. This year, Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow" has become the unofficial anthem for The Steelers, who have adopted their own Hip-Hop monikers in homage to Lil Wayne's Hip-Hop label, Young Money. Ironically, Lil Wayne is an official "Cheesehead." Earlier this week, he released his own remix to Wiz' hit titled "Green & Yellow," in support of his favorite NFL team, The Green Bay Packers.

Additionally, top selling Hip-Hop group The Black Eyed Peas will provide the halftime entertainment for over 1 billion people who are expected to watch The Steelers take on The Green Bay Packers.

Drew Sidora Comments On Boyfriend's Cocaine Bust; Denies Involvement!

Actress Drew Sidora has released a statement regarding the recent news that her ex-boyfriend, who was running a Hip-Hop record label, was actually a drug baron shipping kilos from Southern California, back to Baltimore. News broke earlier this week that Drew Sidora was the girlfriend of an alleged, major drug dealer named Ricky Brascom. Brascom and his partner Charles Ransom Jr., who is also charged, are the CEO's of independent label Behind Da Scenes Entertainment, which includes Chicago rapper Paypa as an artist on the roster. Brascom, Ransom and popularBaltimore spinner, DJ Darrin Ebron were arrested in November of 2010.

The trio are accused of shipping nearly 400 kilos of cocaine from Los Angeles to Baltimore and using over $4 million dollars in proceeds to fund a lavish lifestyle that included luxury cars, homes on both coasts and a mansion in a gated community where famed producer Dr. Dre resides."Like many young women who fall in love, we trust our partners and pray that they live a life based on the principles of morality and integrity, I never knew of his activities and as soon as I became aware, the relationship ended," Drew Sidora said. "I continue to pray for him and his family and anyone else that was affected by he and his partners actions."

According to court documents filed against the trio, Brascom's then girlfriend, Drew Sidora, was caught on wiretaps during operation "Snow Bird."The feds claim Sidora was worrying about her significant other, who had just lost a haul of cocaine to law enforcement officers. According to Sidora, she is back in Chicago preparing to give birth to her first child, while working on a series of children's books and educational video series.Sidora, who starred in the hit "That's So Raven" and as herself on the hit series "The Game," is also a spokesperson and volunteer with the Illinois Raise Your Hand initiative, which advocated sustained funding for public education."Right now, I am focused and overjoyed with happiness of pending motherhood. I will continue to be an advocate for initiatives that promote education, the wellness and stability of our youth, families and communities," Drew Sidora said.

Do’s and don’ts of texting.

Doing a random research brought me into this topic (Do’s and don’ts of textingcombining the convenience of a cell phone call with the privacy of an email, and there you have the latest, greatest way to keep in touch with someone you like texting. These days, nearly everyone’s exchanging mini-missives with his or her amour. That said, there’s a right way and a wrong way to get your message through and while texting has cultivated many a relationship, an equal number have foundered because the texter's didn’t adhere to a few simple rules. Follow these helpful tips, however, and they’ll turn you into a texting expert in no time, not to mention aid in cultivating some warm-and-fuzzy feelings between you and your intended.

Do text on noteworthy occasions
Texts are a great way to let the object of your affections know that he or she is on your mind especially when a response isn't really required.  Sending a quick “Good luck at your meeting; you’ll do great!” beforehand or a “Hope your interview went well, looking forward to hearing about it” afterward are the equivalent of little love.

Don’t text when a phone call would be better
Though it can get addictive, having endless and lengthy text conversations in place of voice-to-voice action is a bad idea. Why? It’s all about making that human connection. “Texting is OK for simple exchanges of information, e.g meet me here, see you there, I want to hear my girl say hi. Just a simple ‘hi’ can make everything right in the universe.” So if it’s been a number of days since you've spoken to each other, consider picking up the phone to remind your sweetie what you sound like. Also keep in mind that texting can often be more cumbersome and time-consuming than a phone call, so before you compose your text, ask yourself: Would a phone allow us to hash out our plans more quickly? If so, save yourself (and your date) the trouble and use the phone.

Do flirt with caution
Nothing can break up a mundane work day better than a few texted sweet goodies… but if you’re thinking of steaming things up, proceed with caution. It’s all too easy to risk offending the recipient with a message that’s a little too titillating, too soon. “You shouldn't start with dirty words. Some people do not want to see certain words on their phones. In short, before you dig into full-on dirty talk, you should pave the way with numerous texts that make it clear this is the direction you’re going and that the recipient is fine hearing them.

Don’t say anything you wouldn’t say in person
Hiding behind your phone is a surefire way to start a new relationship out on the wrong foot — especially if what you’re trying to avoid saying in person is important. For example “I wasn't as bothered by the revelation so much as I was bothered that he texted me about it. It felt like a cowardly way out, and it left me wondering what else he was incapable of communicating to me.” It’s best to save texting for fun. Save heavy conversations and those first word “I love you ” is for face-to-face chats Just remember that.
