A new song from Dr. Dre has hit the Internet. The track, titled "Syllables," features the powerful combination of Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Stat Quo and Cashis. Eminem leads the track and features the rapper chastising Hip-Hop fans, who no longer pay attention to the artform and lyricism in Hip-Hop. Jay-Z comes in second and followed by Dr. Dre, who delivers a verse that also checks the younger generation, which is followed by a mock chorus, featuring Eminem singing an R&B hook. 50cent comes in next, followed by Stat Quo. Cashis ends "Syllables." Cool song....

Podcast Predictions: Tablets, High-Powered Processors and 3-D to Dominate CES!
This week is about the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show, aka CES. CES is a weeklong preview of what kinds of gadgets you’ll see in 2011. Tablets are likely to be big at CES this year, just as they were in 2010. But in 2011, i think manufacturers’ promises might even come true.
LG, MSI, Motorola and Toshiba are all rumored to be releasing tablets. HP, which acquired Palm earlier this year, is also planning to release a webOS-based tablet in the coming year. Intel and AMD are both working on next-generation processors, including Intel’s “Sandy Bridge” CPUs and AMD’s “Fusion” line of chips that combine CPU capabilities and graphics processing in a single package. Which means it has Lower power, longer-lasting netbooks and tablets.
There will be lots of 3-D televisions at the show, but what i more excited about is the advent of more 3-D cameras and camcorders, like one that Fujifilm introduced in 2010. If you could actually make your own 3-D pictures and movies easily, you might have a reason to buy 3-D displays like the Nintendo 3DS, who knows? Like the show? You can also get the Gadget Lab video podcast on iTunes.

J Martins Speaks on Collaboration with Fally Ipupa and Future African Collabos...!
J Martins who was on tour a month before, went touring Europe, going through Italy, Belgium and Amsterdam which was largely successful. He performed at over 23 venues(hmmm!!)which has now come to an end. Speaking recently about his collaboration with Congolese musician Fally Ipupa on Jukpa remix, he informed us of a relationship between them that had lasted a while. He explains that they have been good friends and known each other since he was with Papa Wemba and Koffi Olomide – Fally made his name with Koffi Olomide’s Quartier Latin.
He kept and eye on his growth and a remix for ‘Jukpa’ was just the perfect record. The collaboration with Fally Ipupa has made him a favourite in francophone countries. He would be collaborating with P Square on his next album that would be released next year.
Men Arrested For Breaking Into 50's Mansion And Drinking Wine!lol
Two men were arrested in Farmington, Connecticut, for breaking into the lavish mansion owned by world famous rap star, 50 Cent. According to the New Britain Police Department, officers responded to a call from the rapper's mansion around 6:00AM, when they noticed a suspicious car parked in at the driveway of the 19-bedroom mansion. Another security guard patrolling the inside of the huge mansion found an intruder named Alexander Hernandez inside one of 50cent closets - drinking a bottle of wine he had taken from inside the house.
His accomplice, Santos Padilla, was found in another section of the mansion. Alexander Hernandez was released on $50,000 bond, while Padilla was held in jail for the same amount, according to Connecticut's NBC Channel 30.50, who was not home at the time of the break-in, is attempting to sell the house, which is currently listed at $9.9 million dollars.

50 Cent Invests In 3D Sunglasses Company!
Rap star 50 Cent is expanding his business portfolio with an investment in a new company that creates "digital performance eyewear". According to FastCompany.com, 50's latest business deal involves an optical company named Gunnar Optiks.
The company specializes in creating an optimized sharper digital experience, in addition to reducing headaches or dried eyes from viewing LCD screen for extended amount of time. Additionally, the company develops fashionable, stylish 3D eyewear, which will retail between $70-$200, like the rest of the entire collection.
50 cent became involved with Gunnar after turning down an endorsement deal, in favor of a stake in the company. FastCompany revealed that 50 Cent also has a say in the business direction of Gunnar Optiks as well. The rapper's investment in Gunnar Optiks come's as manufacturers attempt to boost sales of 3D television, which currently has a slow adoption rate.
T.I. Is King Again - Hits No. 1!
This week we have a new album entering the top of the Hip Hop charts and a couple of albums going gold. Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. better known as T.I. has the number one album in Hip Hop this week. His seventh studio album 'No Mercy' enters the charts at number four selling 158,110 copies.
He is followed by Nicki Minaj whose debut album, Pink Friday, actually moves up two spots to number six. This week Pink Friday moves 80,667 copies bringing its total sales to 558,062 and giving Nicki a gold plaque.
Rihanna also moves up a few spots, from 10 to 7, with her fifth studio album, Loud. This week the Barbados born pop star sells 74,338 copies bringing her total sales to 276,992.
Kanye West falls out of the top ten, but not far, landing at number 13. His critically praised album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, moves 68,747 copies. To date MBDTF has sold 670,750 since its release 5 weeks ago. Kanye has passed the gold mark and is well on his way to platinum.
Surprisingly, the Black Eyed Peas latest album 'The Beginning' falls from 6 to 19 in only the second week since its release. I figured the listeners of horrible music would keep this in the top ten for months, much like what happen with their last offering. Is the public’s musical taste getting better? Is this “the beginning” of the end for bad music (bad pun intended)? This week the Peas move 56,110 bringing the albums total sales to 173,176.
Eminem moves up one spot and lands at number twenty five. The Detroit rapper’s seventh studio album 'Recovery' moves 48,868 bringing its total sales well over 3 million.
Lil Wayne’s 'I Am Not A Human Being' EP continues to stand at number 44. This week the New Orleans MC sells 27,314 copies pushing his total sales to 565,257. Normally we don’t go past the top 50 but there are a few notables this week.
Soulja Boy, who drops from 79 to 120, selling 8,000 copies of 'The DeAndre Way' and bringing his total sales to 21,000. Rick Ross finally pushes past gold with his 'Teflon Don' album. To date the album has sold 506,000 copies.

T.I looking good from jail!
Guys it looks like T.I. wont be suffering from the sales slump that others have gotten recently. Dude is looking like he’s going to bust out with a nice sale number in the range of 135k – 145k according to early estimates. Now, according to hitsdailydouble, this isn’t exactly a win. His last album debuted selling 568k in the first week. But when you are incarcerated and cannot promote, this ain’t bad.
Full Nominees List for The Future Awards Unveiled! Reception holds December 19!
Great list...the only thing strange about it is the nominees ages. Teju Baby Face is 27 years old? lol. Teju was in his final year when I got into the university 12 years ago. Plus I heard him tell Jay Jay Okocha yesterday on his TV show that he is 31years old. And Banky W is 29? Ridiculous!...:-) Anyway, check out the full list of nominees and tell us what you think...
The Future Awards, Nigeria’s most influential youth event, after unveiling its spectacular Young Person of the Year nominees has week, has now released the full Nominees List for all 21 categories.
Voting begins immediately! The voting numbers are 33120 for Nigeria and 80079 for the UK and Canada According to the organisers, voting takes only 50% of the first stage of judging, so winners are not selected by voting popularity – there is a 4-stage judging process involving a Board of Judges and an Independent Audit Committee headed by veteran journalist Dr. Reuben Abati. There is also a two week-period for members of the public to make complaints about any of the nominees to awards Central Working Committee (CWC). Please send complaints to info@thefuturenigeria.com.
All the nominees will be celebrated at an invitation-only media and VIP Nominees Reception on Sunday December 19, 2010 – where they will also be inducted into the elite The Future Alumni Network. The event will also be an opportunity to raise money for Love on the Streets, an NGO working with disadvantaged children of the Dustbin Estate, Lagos.
