Marsha Ambrosious dips a little but her debut album still manages to sell 28,000 copies and take the number ten spot on the countdown. Late Nights & Early Mornings has move around 165,000 copies to date.

Eminem continues to rack up sales, moving 20,000 copies of his latest album, Recovery, and bringing the albums total sales well over triple platinum.
Kanye West recently gave fans a free performance at SXSW in an abandoned Power Plant, showcasing most of the music from his fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. This week the album sells 11,000 copies, takes the 35th spot on the countdown, and racks up a sales total of around 1,090,000. Below is some “reasonably steady” video of some of the footage which is starting to appear on the internet from the packed show.
That leaves Raekwon and his latest, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, to round out the countdown at number 45. This week the Chef adds 9,400 copies to his sales numbers bringing to totals to around 38,000.
Dropping This Week
First up this week is Pharoahe Monch who releases his third solo album W.A.R (We Are Renegades). The album features Idris Elba, Immortal Technique, Vernon Reid, Showtyme, DJ Boogie Blind, Styles P, Phonte, Mela Machinko, Mr. Porter, Jean Grae, Royce Da 5’9”, Citizen Cope and Jill Scott. Pharoahe Monch says that he is bringing that ‘93-‘94 Hip Hop sound so if you’re looking for something lyrical then pick this one up.
Next up is Gucci Mane who comes back with his new album The Return of Mr. Zone 6. Most of the production on this album is handled by Drumma Boy with guest features including Birdman, Waka Flocka Flame, OJ Da Juiceman, Lil Capp, Chill Will, Whoo Da Kid, Rocko, Webbie, Master P, Wale, 8Ball, and Slim Dunkin.
